Voting after vetoes laws
The whole system is the same, but there is a simple majority vote required by each house after the president has vetoed a bill instead of a two thirds majority.
This would make it harder for significant factions of parties to control their party and their house. Instead only a simple majority by both parties, and so the parties's factions would have to compromise.
