States Voting
Everything is the same, except there is a simple majority of state approval.
This would make it easier for amendments to get past. Instead of needing 38 states, there would only need 26 to ratify the amendment. This would make some regions who have a certain ideology be able to pass an amendment to their needs, not the other states needs. For example, if this were after the 13th amendment, the southern states could have pass an amendment to make slavery legal again. So this would go against many people's beliefs, and make it less fair to a minority of people.
